Musician and sound artist whose practice is applied in the contexts of live performance, installation, radio and audiovisual. In the last decade, Cecchitelli extensively released record appearances worldwide and has presented works through several venues, festivals, platforms and centres for art and sound.

Focused on principles of semantic interpretation, ontology and imaginative poetics, his research is based on various methods of electronic transformation and instrumentation. A device coexisting in the creative and compositional process, giving a strong combination of sonic memory and deep listening as an integral part of a spontaneous plastic language.

some info about my live set in Graz :) Audiovisual collaboration between photographer Chiara Benzi, video-artist Vladimir Bertozzi and musician Demetrio Cecchitelli. Crossing the oceans of deep states, upside down layers, non-realistic and hyper-imagery borders - the work wants to investigate the inner and out-extended-beyond limits of the dialogue between visual and sound, within a specific real time intervention.
